Need Help with Linux, willing to pay market

Here's my situation.

I've installed Yellow Dog 5.0.1 on my PS3 (since apparently 5.0.2 has problems with Bluetooth connectivity). It's now 11:00pm and I've gotten fed up. My ultimate goals are:

(1) Get FCE Ultra to run properly. I've tried doubling the buffer, but it still runs slooooooow and choppy. Honestly, without a GUI and some pretty easy controls I'm pretty much stuck. The options I'm given at the command line don't seem to help. FWIW, I've seen FCE and other emulators run well on a PS3 in person.

(2) Install the GUI for FCE. I don't know the name of it offhand, but I'm using YDL's default gnome GUI, and the FCE GUI is for gnome, so it shouldn't be that hard. I haven't tried yet, so who knows, it may be tough as hell.

(3) Install a functional and relatively user-friendly SNES emulator and GUI to go with it, if there is one. A little research indicated people have had luck with SNES9x.

(4) Write some macro or something so I don't have to log in. I didn't create another user acct and I just want the root to load up logged-in.

(5) Get the bluetooth PS3 controller recognized and working with the Linux system.

(6) And in a dream world, some sort of quick and dirty GUI that would just be 3 options - load NES emulator (with a submenu of available games); load SNES emulator (with the same); and exit GUI. Maybe someway, for example, to associate a Mario with Mario 3 and the command "fceu /root/Desktop/smb3.nes" (or whatever directory/location).

Ideally, I'd boot to YDL, it would autologin, and 3 options would be available - NES, SNES, and EXIT (which would take me to the YDL virtual desktop). The controller would be connected, so it could choose the system and then go ot a submenu of available games. I'd rarely use the PS3 as a Linux box for non-emulating purposes, so I'd like this to be priority.

As I conceded before, the whole setup is sort of in a dream. Google it, and you'll see this stuff, short of the initial 3 choice menu idea, has all been done. I just don't have the time/patience to do it. I used to mess with DOS when I was like 10 (think the KQ and Leisure Suit Larry days), so I was sort of okay with the command line, I just don't have it in me.

I'd pay at a competitive rate. Looking at the computer services offered portion of CL, it seems people are looking for $15-60/hr., depending on the service offered. I'd rather negotiate what you'd do up front and have a set fee for the project in total, but with these numbers as a benchmark. Obviously, creating something like my macro/program idea would be worth a lot more than a couple of installs and tweaks, but let's talk.

I'd imagine this is perfect for the hobbyist that knows their stuff and is looking for some extra cash on the side. Plus, given how many people are having similar problems, you might be able to sourceforge it or something like that.

I can also link you to my eBay feedback or look for some other way to show I'm not just playing around and really want this done. Thanks.
