Small, rapidly expanding Chicago-based stock and options trading firm seeks a C# software engineer to join a team of a highly-motivated, talented C# developers building a fully-automated options trading system. This job involves working closely with financial engineers and traders in designing and tuning the performance of the system.



Our firm is an upstart stock and options-trading shop. Our systems are built around C# and SQL Server on the Windows XP platform. Candidate must possess a B.S. in computer science or a related field and three years of experience with:



• C# programming

• The Microsoft .NET Framework

• SQL Server

• Design patterns

• XML

• Real-time equity options trading systems design and implementation, including issues related to exchange interfaces, order management, trading system front-end design, etc are all a plus.



The successful candidate will have 4+ years experience as an information technology professional in the capital markets industry. Specific experience developing real-time options trading systems is desired.



In addition to professional skills, the candidate must be a self-starting and highly motivated. Senior Software Engineers must communicate regularly with data feed providers and other vendors that impact the speed and efficiency of the electronic trading system. Strong people and communication skills are essential.
