Trustmark Insurance Company, located 30 miles north of Chicago in Lake Forest, Illinois, has nearly 3,000 staff members at its home office and its 45 regional and branch offices. We are currently seeking an Investigative Data Analyst for our Lake Forest headquarters.





Responsibilities:

• Data analysis for the purposes of identifying suspicious medical claims activity and patterns.
  
  
• Analyze and evaluate leads obtained through anti-fraud software such as IBM-FAMS.
  
  
• Validate and communicate results of data analysis to analytics and investigative teams for further action.
  
  
• Attend periodic anti-fraud association meetings and training for educational and networking purposes.
  
  
• Other job related duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• Self-starter with superior verbal and written communication skills.
  
  
• Strong technical skills. FAMS and SQL experience preferred. SAS experience a plus.
  
  
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational, prioritization and problem solving skills.
  
  
• Must be flexible with the ability to work independently.
  
  
• Willingness to spend a large portion of time performing data analysis.
  
  
• Occasional overnight travel (up to 2 times a year).
  
  
• B.A. in Criminal Justice, Sociology or related field.
  
  
• Some statistical education beneficial.
