Knowledge of 837 is a must and knowledge of Mercator 6.X is a must as well as:



1. ANSI X12 837,834,977,278,271 knowledge with minimum 3 yrs experience

2. HIPAA knowledge

3. Mercator 6.5, 8.X knowledge ( Database adaptor , email adaptor) - minimum 3yrs experience

4. Sql Server 2000 knowledge

5. EDISM

6. Foresight HIPPA Validator

7. Self motivated and self –starter

8. Proven track record in design, programming , testing and implementing EDI bridges

9. Triage and trouble shooting skills

10. Requirement gathering skills

11. Good Communication skills with attention to details

12. Good Documentation skills with attention to details

13. Team player



NICE TO HAVE:



- Flat (NSF) file programming knowledge

- Visual basic and C# knowledge

- Web Sphere TX experience

- Event Server knowledge



Job Description:



On this assignment, the candidate will need utilize extensive healthcare & HIPAA experience. Work with the windows-based version of Mercator 6.5 translator. Tasks will be, but are not limited to, the following:



• Map development for creating new bridges for client implementations. Including documentation and testing

• Fixes/enhancements for existing Mercator maps

• Upgrading existing 837 3040 maps to 837 4010. Coordinating testing with trading partners.

• Working on the NPI implementation project

• Upgrading foresight product to incorporate higher level of HIPPA validation

• Fine tuning existing 837, 271, 834, 278 and 271 maps• Working on 997 implementations

• Creating EDI implementation guides and test scenarios using EDISM

• Upgrading to DataStage TX 8.10

• Migrating to DataStage TX Event Server
