Brain Hurricane provides free tutoring to poor students in failing schools (K-8) around the country. We create our own innovative, hands-on curriculum to engage students in critical math and reading lessons that improve student grades and test scores, and endow them with creative and critical thinking skills that benefit them both inside and outside of school.





Our main office is right in downtown Chicago, with beautiful views of the river, lake, and city, all from the 51st floor. Brain Hurricane provides a fun and creative atmosphere to stimulate ideas and encourage productivity.





Brain Hurricane is seeking an intern to assist in editing the curriculum that was just created for the upcoming school year. We would be looking for this person to possibly stay on and be promoted to a full time position in curriculum writing and editing. We are looking for applicants with the following experience:





* English/Writing/Editing major or master's degree candidate


* Writing and editing experience








This position is a paid summer internship that will run for about a month or two. The pay is starting at $10.00/hour.
