I’ve always been very skeptical about using these online dating services and I’m still NOT sure if I believe they actually work. My other hesitation has been about the quality of the people who post and answer these ads. I’ve heard all kinds of stories (mostly bad) from other people I know. However, a good friend of mine swears that online dating really works and that the quality of people is not bad at all.


So after years of hesitation I finally decided to check it out myself and see if this really works. I suppose I have nothing to lose, right? Worse comes to worse, I’ll have a funny story to tell my grandchildren some day.


So now let’s get to business. I’m not going to tell you too much about myself except that I’m white, I’m in my 30’s, I have a decent height, a full head of hair, an athletic body, a great job, a wonderful family (not in Chicago) and great group of friends.


What am I looking for? Please be attractive, confident, fun, slender and in your late 20’s or early to mid 30’s. I prefer professional and well-educated women.

One more thing, if you’re one of those women who post every week and go out with dozens of guys you meet online. I would probably not be interested in meeting you. I know people (men and women) who are addicted to online dating and I’m not sure that’s a good thing. That tells me that they’re either desperate, very lonely, sex addicts or looking for something that doesn’t exist.
